About

Hello there I’m Don Amero, an Indigenous singer-songwriter from Winnipeg, Canada. Since I can remember, music has been my true love, and I feel incredibly fortunate to be able to share it with listeners all over the globe.

My music is a reflection of my events in life and the environment I live in. I was exposed to a broad variety of musical genres while growing up in a small town in Manitoba, including country, rock, and pop. I was also inspired by Indigenous music because I am a Cree Nation member, and this has greatly shaped my sound and style.

I’ve had the honor of playing at some of the largest festivals and venues in Canada and abroad over the years. Additionally, I’ve had the good fortune to win honors for my songs from the Indigenous songs Awards and the Canadian Folk Music Awards.

For me, music is a way of life rather than just a job or a pastime. I firmly think that music has the ability to unite people, heal them, and motivate the world to change for the better. Through my music, I want to have a good influence and build deep relationships with my listeners.

I appreciate your support and coming along on this amazing adventure with me.
